You always have a choice. You can choose to look at all that is wrong in your life or choose to celebrate the smallest of experiences that are right in your life.

For some, it’s hard to have any staying power in a positive mindset. To those, I suggest living in awareness; when the mind wants to complain or say something negative, try to think of one experience of thanks, then another until there is a shift of consciousness. It could be as simple as savoring that cup of tea or coffee in the morning, taking in a beautiful sunrise or sunset, sharing laughter with a friend, a funny Facebook post, or enjoying watching a TV show or reading a good book. Simple pleasures are positive experiences.

I encourage all to focus on the positive so that more positive experiences come into awareness. Focus on what can be immediately affected, Self. Give Thanks, and you open to receive all you want to experience in life.
