Feelings are indicators of where our thoughts reside. As Rhonda Bryne says our “feelings fuel our thoughts,” are you aware of what you are feeling in the present moment? Do you go through a mental process of questioning how you are feeling, living in awareness of your feelings and thoughts?
I teach that we have to understand our emotions free of judgment. As you often hear me say there is no right, wrong, good, or bad emotion. We honor what we are feeling and may choose to have some emotions stick around while others we choose to move out. While living in awareness, you may be able to process some emotions quickly, while others hang on for moments, hours, or days. It is of vital importance to our health that we live in awareness of these feelings and not stuff them away. Our emotions hold great wisdom of what we are co-creating with the Universe. You are the master of your feelings; no one else is responsible for how you choose to feel. Sure we may be influenced by others or life experiences, but ultimately it is our responsibility.
Living mindfully aware we see ourselves playing a role in our life movie and choose whether that emotion feels right. Recognize those emotions directly influence our thoughts and actions. Moment by moment, watch whether the emotions shift or remain the same, and be careful not to suppress them. To be able to identify what we are feeling in the present holds great power in manifesting our desired destiny. I encourage you to get in tune with how you feel in the present. Explore these emotions with impartiality. Feelings give life, “fuel” our thoughts, and thoughts act as the magnetic of what we attract in our life!
